If you are a UK Income Tax payer then you can add 28% of the value of your donations, at no cost to yourself, by signing a Gift Aid declaration. This allows us to reclaim the Income Tax (which automatically makes up 28% of any financial gift) paid on donations from HM Revenue and Customs. In other words, by signing a Gift Aid declaration, KEYAID will receive an extra 28p for every £1 that you give!
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme that enables donors to make charitable donations straight from their gross salary (before tax has been deducted). Therefore, for a basic rate taxpayer wanting to give a £10 donation, it will only cost £7.80 or just £6 for higher rate taxpayers.
